These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the StepCast website, applications, and services. By using StepCast, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

01Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and StepCast ("StepCast," "we," "us," or "our") and apply to your use of our websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms, whether on your own behalf or on behalf of an organization you represent.

03Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at tech@stepcast.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

04Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you may not:

  • Use the Services in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or data;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Services or related infrastructure;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law;
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share;
  • Use the Services to send unsolicited communications or to harvest data without consent.

05Subscriptions and Billing

Certain Services are offered on a paid subscription basis. Fees, billing cycles, and plan features are described at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

06Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by StepCast or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

07Customer Content

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to the Services ("Customer Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely as needed to provide and improve the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to submit your Customer Content.

08Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party products and services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

09Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StepCast and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StepCast and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

13Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StepCast is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
